Microchip bietet mit den Tempertursensoren der analogen MCP9700- und der digitalen MCP9800-Serie thermische Überwachung mit hoher Genauigkeit und geringem Platzbedarf zum kleinen Preis. Diese Linear Active Thermistor Integrated Circuit (LAT-IC)-Sensoren decken den erweiterten, industriellen Temperaturbereich von -40°C bis +125°C vollständig ab. Die hohe Linearität im Bereich von 0°C bis 70°C und die hohe Genauigkeit von 0,5°C am Kalibrierpunkt von 25°C machen diese Sensoren auch für Messaufgaben außerhalb des herkömmlichen Temperaturmanagements interessant. Der weite Eingangsspannungsbereich von 2,3 V bis 5,5 V und der geringe Stromverbrauch von nur 6 µA (MCP9700) bzw. 200 µA (MCP9800) ermöglichen auch den Einsatz in mobilen Systemen.
