5. Generation CSTB IPMs
Wie im Blockschaltbild zu den IPM dargestellt, sind neben den IGBT-Chips diverse Treiber-, Überwachungs- und Schutzfunktionen im Modul integriert. Diese Funktionen sind optimal auf den verwendeten Chip abgestimmt. Durch diesen kompakten Aufbau eröffnen sich Möglichkeiten, die nur der Chiphersteller selbst realisieren kann, da direkt auf Chipebene "ohne lange Wege und Verzögerungszeiten" reagiert werden kann.
