PIM: ATCA Power Input Modules
The PIM400 series of Power Input Modules is designed to greatly simplify the task of implementing dual redundant, hot swappable –48 V DC power distribution with EMI filtering on an ATCA or other telecom boards. The PIM400 with optional digital interface (I2C capability, when used with a variety of GE’s series of Bus converters (e.g. Barracuda* Series) and POLs (e.g. DLynx* Series), provides for a simple, elegant power architecture solution for a wide variety of intelligent power architectures.
