RFID Reader / Writer with Increased HF Performance
The TWN4 MultiTech 2 LEGIC (M) LF HF from Elatec is a contactless RFID reader/writer and a direct further development of the TWN4 MultiTech LEGIC with the same mechanical dimensions (OEM PCB and desktop housing). During the development of the TWN4 MultiTech 2 LEGIC (M) LF HF, special emphasis was placed on optimising the HF read performance (13.56 MHz).
Compared to the predecessor model TWN4 MultiTech LEGIC, the average read range could be increased by more than 50% for LEGIC transponders and even doubled for some HF transponders.TWN4 MultiTech 2 LEGIC (M) LF HF also supports all major transponders from various manufacturers such as ATMEL, EM, ST, NXP, TI, HID, LEGIC as well as ISO standards such as ISO14443A/B (T=CL), ISO15692 and ISO18092/ECMA-340 (NFC).
