The HL and WP series radio modules in CF3™ form factor are suitable for products that need to connect to multiple networks with different radio technologies. Optional 2G fallback enables customers to deploy the same device with multiple carriers worldwide. In regions where 3G coverage is not widely available, the 2G fallback ensures that devices stay connected to the network.
The WP Series greatly simplifies the development of secure telematics and gateway applications. The dedicated application CPU core can run the Linux-based open-source application framework (Legato ®). With integrated GNSS for tracking and location-based services, low-power modes and a comprehensive interface system for connecting sensors and companion chips, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, customers can develop multi-service platforms for the transportation market. The WP77 is thus ideally suited for applications with low data throughput, optimized performance and high availability.
