The Kontron pITX-APL is characterized by a large selection of interfaces. Furthermore, customer-specific functions can be integrated via standard Mini PCIe expansion slots and Kontron's own Embedded Feature Connector. Additional features such as microSD/ microSIM Card Combo and lockable external DC power connector support industrial automation applications, further simplifying and accelerating system design. With its SIM card socket, the motherboard is also suitable for use in the intelligent, distributed ‘Internet of Things’ for time-to-market applications.
