The Vortex86DX3 is a compact ultra-low-power system-on-chip. It is a 32-bit x86 processor that is compatible with DOS, Windows, Linux, QNX, VxWorks and other popular 32-bit operating systems. In its 720-pin BGA package, the Vortex86DX3 packs 32kb L1 cache, 512KB L2 cache, 2.5GHz PCIe bus, DDR3 RAM controller, ISA, I2C, SPI, IPC (Internal Peripheral Controller with DMA and interrupt timer/counter included), Fast Ethernet, UART with FIFO, USB 2. 0 host and IDE/SATA controller to provide an optimal solution for embedded systems and communication products such as thin clients, NAT routers, home gateways, access points and tablet PCs.
